Prediction Question One:  What do you think is going to happen in this story?

Brodie	Adventure - They’re probably going to catch one Kahawai and have the best time of their life.	Correct A “Kahawai” she called to the sky ‘ smiling ‘
Wiremu	Fierce battle, Set in a swamp, Fishing trip	Not correct: Because she yelled out A kahawai to the sky.
Tanisslous	they are going to get something good	Correct because they were so happy they got a real fish.
Quitah	They might be going on a trip and their going fishing
Malia	They might catch fish but they can’t handle it and then something might go wrong?
Wiremu	Sea monster/ Kahawai
Brooklyn	Maybe they have heard about a big creature in the sea and they’re going to try and hunt it to see if its true.  Maybe there is going to be a flood.	Incorrect because it said A kahawai she called to the sky. ‘ happy thoughts ‘

Prediction Question Two:  What do you think Trish will pull out from the water?

Wiremu	She might pull out some rubbish because it said a man pulled out two tyres.	Not correct: Because she yelled out A kahawai to the sky.
Brodie	She might catch a kahwai. Because thats what the title is. “ Kahwai. “	Correct- “A Kahawai” she called to the sky.
Brooklyn	I think she will probably pull out rubbish, because the water is so polluted.  She might catch two tyres like the Uncle Roger.	Incorrect because it said A kahawai she called to the sky. ‘ happy thoughts ‘
Tanisslous	Pull out a Kahawai because of the title of the story.	I am correct because It said “A kahawai!” she called to the sky.

Prediction Question Three: What do you think Trish and Areta will do with their catch?

Wiremu	They might or will go and sell it for some money because there uncle caught tyers and sold them for money.	Correct and Incorrect: Because they said we would sell it but they put it back into the water.
Brodie	There going to put it in the water ( A fish tank, Old aquarium or maybe put it back in the ocean where its clean.)	Correct?? They put the fish back in the water.
Tanisslous	They might try catch 1 more then start breeding them and growing up their babies	Incorrect because they put the kahawai back in the water.
Brooklyn	I think they're going to throw it back in or take it somewhere clean or sell it like there uncle roger did?	Correct because they were gonna sell it but then they thought about and they threw it back in the water.

Brodie and Brooklyn	The kahawai Areta and Trish look over each other and hug but all the way back in the view people watch them as they throw the kahawai in the water. “Those cheeky little biscuits why would they throw the fish away. It could sell for thousand” said  Whenua “ Lets go get it” said shakazulo. They go to get the fish, they find it but they look to the side and see Areta and Tresh unhappy.
