Camp Reflection: Kokako Acrostic Poem

Task Eleven:  Kokako Acrostic Poem

Task Instructions:
Create an acrostic poem for the words “Kokako Lodge”
Begin by listing the letters down the page like this: (yes, you can copy and paste!)

Kind instructors that respect us and others.
Our respect cant stop any others
Kindly getting people across the river
Arranging dinner
Clinging my fork waiting for dinner
Open wide its dinner time

Liking the weather
Oh how many times I tried to get the yellow in archery
Does Not seem like its raining
Get down here comes the rain
Echoing forest confuses my mind

And then begin writing phrases that start with each letter.  For example:
K = Kind instructors, helping us to build our confidence.
O = Oh so many times I tried aiming for the balloon in archery!
...etc, etc...

Camp Reflection: Rap About Camp

RAP

Room 8 went on camp about a week ago, week ago,
We all had some fun and we went along, went along
We didn't know what to do and then the instructors come they taught  us everything they got so (lets pick up the beat lets go lets go)

Now everything I say is always related to camp
and everyone's like why you talk so fast
You cant stop me i'm like lightning fast I do most the activities and ill leave out one hand
My favourite activity is Abseiling the most but the one thing I got is the guts go
I ain't like you i'm not scared of the start but when you make your way down you're not scared that much
But me I'm different I aint scared of the start the thing i'm scared about is being unsafe (really safe)
The raps gonna end when you open your mouth cause the only thing you got is damn i'm out

yellow beats holla at me
we went to kokako lodge
we work hard all day and long (day and long)

We were getting ready for activities
so we can make more of our memories (memories

We were wondering what abseiling was
it was just like rock climbing ( rock climbing )

And then we went into the kayaks ( Kayaks )

and then we looked onto the sidetracks ( sidetracks )

we seen room 7 cheering on for us, but that doesn't mean were giving up ( giving up)

Camp Reflection: Shield.

Today me and Brodie chose to do the shield and the words will explain what the picture represents.
